Dr. Wang was awarded a five-year $2 million grant from the National Institute of Arthritis and Musculoskeletal and Skin Diseases (NIAMS). This grant was awarded for a collaborative project with Dr. Na Xiong, professor of immunology in the College of Agricultural Science at Penn State. The focus of this grant is the development of semi-synthetic biomaterial wound dressings.
